Gerry Kennedy

Speech Pathologist

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology), MSPA

Gerry is a dedicated and compassionate speech pathologist who focuses  on building meaningful relationships with families to ensure they feel well-supported
throughout the therapy process. Gerry works closely with families to ensure they feel informed and empowered every step of the way. Focusing on creating a warm and welcoming environment, Gerry makes therapy sessions fun and engaging by promoting a child-led, interest-based approach to sessions. This playful, hands-on approach, mixed with sensory-motor play, helps children feel comfortable and motivated while achieving their speech and language goals. Whether working with neurodivergent clients or those with varied communication styles, Gerry tailors each session to the unique strengths and interests of the child.
By focusing on what children do best, Gerry fosters growth, confidence, and a love of learning, all while helping families feel confident in their child's progress and
celebrating their every success. Gerry also understands and values the importance of capacity-building families to achieve goals not only in the clinic, but also at home and in the wider community.
